A downloadable game for Windows

You are the ultimate villain, Doctor Chaotic, and you're hatching a scheme to kidnap Prince Oliver Sparklebottom.

As you're a professional, only the most elaborate and excessive schemes will do. You must use every tool available to you before capturing your target.

The types and number of traps available to you are at the bottom. Place them in the level, then press the Play button to send the Prince's patrol forward. Your goal is to use ALL of them in some way before capturing the Prince in the net.

Controls

Left mouse button: Select a trap, or place a trap if selected.

1, 2, 3: Toggle placement mode of the corresponding trap from your inventory.

Spacebar: Play or stop the scene.

R: Restart the level. This is the only way to retrieve placed traps (sorry).

Quirks

The bottom hud can get in the way of trap placement. You can place traps in the 2nd last row of tiles, but you must hover over the top half of the tile.

Level 3 has obvious cheese that stops a key concept from being learned. Pretend the pit to the right of the already placed banana peel is actually a solid wall, allowing a character to recover on the path if they trigger it from the west.

Hints
  • Banana peels are triggered when a character steps on to it, sending them in the direction they last walked. The bubble launcher and magnet are triggered when a character enters their targeting zone (shown by the dashed rectangle).
  • If a character is still on or near a path after being moved, they will attempt to walk to their goal again, even if they're on a different branch.
  • Traps built in to the level cannot be moved, but they still need to be triggered before you can win.
  • You do not need to incapacitate every guard. The requirements to win a level are that: every trapped in you inventory is placed, every trap on the board (including ones that are set to the level) has been triggered by something, and that the other two are done before the prince gets captured by a net.
Level walkthroughs
  1. First select the banana peel with either the button at the bottom, or with the 1 key. Then click on a map tile to place it. Do the same with the net. Place them on or near the white outlines. Hit the play button to have the prince and his guard start moving.
  2. Place a banana peel in front of the bottom-most guard, and a bubble launcher in the southern grass a few blocks ahead of the forward guards so that it hits them all at once.
  3. Place a banana peel on the guard path's first corner so it launches him across to the other path.
